The first social event of the season has arrived and along with it the latest gossip from Lady Whistlethorne. The scandal rag claims the Duchess is having an affair with her butler, another member of the Ton is actually a penniless fraud and another has committed murder! Surely none of this can be true.
But when a murder occurs it seems someone has put an end to Lady Whistlethorne unless there is another motive at hand.
